Take a Class

We created a self-paced online composting class for beginners. You can access it, sign in, and learn all about making compost while social distancing. We are still available to answer all of your questions by phone and email.

Introduction to Composting Classes

Our calendar is being filled up now for 2020.

Would you like to host a Composting Class at your community garden or place of business? Or help us continue to offer classes free to the community by sponsoring a class? Let us know.

Host a Class

We would love to teach a composting class at your next event! Good for beginners or experienced composters. We can customize the class to suit your audience and venue.

  • Community Garden or Urban Farm Work Day

  • Educational Class for Your Workplace or Community Group

  • Backyard Landscape Makeover

  • “Permablitz” at your home

  • Corporate Team Building

Children’s Classes

Ask about our discounts for public schools!

We offer several different options for kids’ classes:

  • One-hour classes for children aligned with grade-level standards

  • 20-30 minute presentations for special events

  • Half or full day rates for grade level or school wide composting education

  • Summer camps classes, home school events, boy or girl scout activities, and more!

Does your campus want to compost? We can assist with setting up composting systems and procedures to reduce your campus waste and nourish your gardens or landscaping!
